Originally built to house families from the overcrowded inner-city after World War II, Pollok now has a population of 12,000. Pollok offers its residents plenty of attractions including Pollok Country Park, which has a fantastic museum and Crookston Castle which also makes for an interesting day out.

Pollok has great transport links to the M77 and M8 nearby. Pollokshaws West Train Station is also on the Glasgow Southwestern Line which makes travelling much more accessible.

Pollok also has an array of shops and restaurants including “Jodandys” which is a family-run café offering fantastic cakes and British food including vegetarian and vegan options. Italian food “Bella Vita” and "Himalayan Dine” which has a range of tasty Asian and Nepalese food.

Silverburn Shopping Centre is only a short walk from Pollok Town Centre, and it offers a range of fantastic shops from Hugo Boss to H&M, LEVI’S, and M&S. It also has several wonderful restaurants such as Five Guys and Tony Macaroni’s, a PureGYM, a Cineworld and of course, The Upload Abode Property Pod.
