Neilston is a village in East Renfrewshire and is three miles south of Paisley with a population of just 5,000 people. Known as a former milling village, agriculture has played and continues to play an economic role in Neilston. The annual Neilston Agricultural Show is an important trading and cultural event for farmers from southwest Scotland each spring.

For public transport, Neilston has trains which operate to Glasgow Central every 30 minutes and it only takes 30 minutes to get there, you can also catch the number 54 bus into Paisley town centre.

In terms of places to eat, Neilston has an abundance of restaurants and cafes. “The Pad” serves traditional British food but also caters to vegetarians and Italian eatery “LL Italiano” has an extremely diverse menu with plenty of options to choose from.

Silverburn Shopping Centre is only a 13-minute drive from Neilston, and it offers a range of fantastic shops from Hugo Boss to H&M, LEVI’S, and M&S. It also has several wonderful restaurants such as Five Guys and Tony Macaroni’s, a PureGYM, a Cineworld and of course, The Upload Abode Property Pod.
